Sleepyhead
This is the image I wake up to every Saturday and Sunday morning because even at 8 years old, my daughter secretly wishes she could sleep with me every night of the week but is only allowed to on the weekends. I don't mind because I know in about 5 years, she'll be trying to avoid spending time with her mom and more time with friends....I treasure my weekends with Savannah and Jackson.

Jackson's 2nd haircut ever!
This time I had them really cut it down...he wasn't too happy about it but it's gone.
My dad and my son...
Ever since my son was born, I've been amazed at how much my son resembles my dad...thanks to my dad's cousin Randy, I was able to get a hold of a picture of my dad when he was a toddler. What a gift to be able to see my dad through my son's eyes every day.

We had a few days where it was pretty cold outside and I took this picture of Jackson in his car seat...now, it's back to humid warmness...lol.

Okay, so I was dreading making Savannah's homecoming mum for next weekend but you know what, I had fun...well, too much fun making it....as you can see I got carried away..whoopsie. Oh, and please excuse the laundry, it was laundry day...and that's not even half of the laundry work that I put in...

Power Up...it's Monday
It's officially Monday again...usually I dread Mondays but today I have a lot of stuff to do and I would like to get it done by week's end because the trial for the jerk that broke into my house starts this coming Monday and I don't want to have things lingering on my desk should this be a long drawn out ordeal. The Start of a Weekend
Yet another weekend is upon us and I really wish I could just relax but not gonna happen. Of course Savannah has cheerleading, Jackson is a full time job for the most skilled parent, and oh...I have to find time to actually do some grocery shopping in between....I am not complaining in the least though because if all this was gone, I wouldn't know what to do with myself.

Third Grade
Savannah started 3rd grade on Monday and she is also cheering for the Sugar Land, Texans...this is all makes one 8 year old very sleepy.

I'm baaaaack
I was on hiatus but now I'm back in business. Savannah is now 8 years old as of June 3rd and my lil buddy Jackson is now 14 months as of June 8th. They grow so fast.
