Thirsty Thursday

I have never been so thirsty in my entire life...here is the kicker...I already have to pee 8 million times a day...add water and I basically live in the bathroom.

I have discovered that Jackson is pretty busy in there right when I get to work and sit down and after lunch, oh and he really loves to go to town at night when I am trying to get some shut eye. Last night Savannah felt her baby brother move for the first time. She got very excited and she asks me all the time what I think Jackson will look like. I always tell her "Probably a lot like his big sister" and she grins from ear to ear. This also contributes to her staring at herself in the mirror quite a bit. I love that girl.

Found out today that I don't have to pay for crib hardware for Savannah's old crib. I simply just called the crib maker company and they are sending out the parts next week. And to think all of this time I was going from one hardware store to another trying to find something that would work when all I had to do was call the company. Turns out that a lot of their cribs were recalled except for the model that I have amazingly. I hope it is easy to reassemble.

My mom and Aunt Debbie are over at the house helping me get Jackson's nursery together, which brings me back to my original dilemma...how in the world am I going to consolidate 2 children into 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. I really don't know why I say that because Savannah spends a majority of her time in my bathroom instead of hers, so maybe it won't be a problem after all. Good thing I didn't paint her bathroom pink!!

22 weeks and 2 days!!!

Well, here I am, in all my glory!!! 22 weeks and 2 days and growing by the day :)

infinite weather depressent...

Had to do a post about the sucky weather as of late in Houston. There is nothing more depressing than getting up to the same miserable weather outside every single day. Rainy, windy, and cold to boot. Today is like a high of 43. What can you do outside when it is 43 degrees and a soggy, windy wet mess? Come on Mother Nature, cut us a break!!! At this point I might be happy with 60 degrees.
Anywho, I am going to try and get Jackson's room ready these next few weeks. There is still a lot of Savannah's stuff in there. Everytime I pass by that room, I wonder how I am going to combine 2 children's lives (toys, linens, toys, clothing...did I mention toys?) together. Thankfully, Savannah is kinda growing out of her toys phase (although she has a severe addiction to Littlest Pet Shop) and moving on to things that even I enjoy playing with i.e. Ipod, computer games, Wii.
I am starting to buy diapers when I go to the store...figure I better stock up while I can. I can't wait until the baby shower, I love all of my family and friends and can't wait to see them all and discuss Jackson's arrival. I am getting more and more nervous about the delivery...I am hoping they won't have to induce me...I remember that pain.

21 weeks today and reflection

Savannah at 7 weeks:)

21 weeks today!! It is official...I had some difficulty putting lotion on my feet and while in the shower, I was trying to loofah my feet and it was really a stretch. Jackson kicks everyday now and to be honest, the reality of another child has not fully set in. I was reflecting back to when I was pregnant with Savannah and how excited I was and I investigated everything, but now, it seems like I've already been there and done that. Savannah has been the center of my life for the past 6 years and 9 months. I cannot even imagine at this point sharing that love with another child...I know it will come, it's just hard for me to fathom. Next prenatal visit on Thursday, they are doing another ultrasound to make sure Lil J has all of his fingers, toes, and properly working organs.
